In 2019, Kai Cheng Thom published a collection of short essays titled "I Hope We Choose Love: A Trans Girl’s Notes from the End of the World." Thom asks readers to consider whether generosity, forgiveness, and compassion can stand alongside accountability, justice, and survival as core values of our movements.
