Sashiko Sampler - Single Stitch Design - White Clover

DARUMA's classic Sashiko Samplers are easy to make by simply stitching according to the printed pattern. 

Single-Stitch Sashiko is a technique in which vertical, horizontal, and diagonal stitches are created in sequence at regular intervals. The pattern emerges as you stitch, you'll forget about time and enjoy the warmth of the handiwork.

Sashiko Samplers are perfect as dish towels, napkins, or as an outer wrapping for homemade gifts. Each pattern is printed on durable kitchen cloth fabric (sarashi) that can be washed off after finishing. In other words, do not wash or steam until you finish stitching, or the pattern will be lost!

For most Single-Stitch patterns, you will need at least 2 Sashiko Thread Cards or 2 Embroidery Floss skeins per sampler.

An instructional guide is included inside each package in both English and Japanese.
